Fonico is an outgrowth of a previous music entity founded by Herman Rodriguez-Bajandas, legendary entertainment attorney Michael Tannen (former entertainment attorney and/or business manager for John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Simon & Garfunkel, Stephen Stills, Merle Haggard, Lily Tomlin), legendary music producer Phil Ramone, and Latin music legend and Fania records co-founder, Johnny Pacheco.
